A Message from the College's Health Professions Advisor
Hello! My name is Dr. Blake Densley, and it is an honor to serve as the College of Idaho's Health Professions Advisor. When I am not teaching in the Department of Health and Human Performance, I am busy preparing, planning, and meeting with students curious about pursuing a career in healthcare. Whether you want to become a physician, an expert in public health, or anything in-between, my goal is to provide you with the resources you need to feel comfortable moving toward your goals while here at the College.
My philosophy is one of mentoring. Instead of providing the decisions for you, I strive to discuss the many possibilities available to you so that you can use your autonomy to make the best decision for yourself. I will push you to discover your "why" for pursuing a health career, and guide you through the process of demonstrating the core competencies of the pathway you choose. I challenge you to ask many questions, and remain inquisitive about the many career pathways available in the healthcare and allied health environments. I look forward to the opportunity to collaborate with you!
